Located on Decatur Street in the French Quarter of the city, no visit to New Orleans is complete without stopping at Cafe de Monde , the “Original French Market Coffee Stand,” for their world famous beignets and a cup of Cafe Au Lait. The store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Closed on Christmas Day. Du Monde coffee stands can also found at various locations around town.
