Shakespeare’s King Lear, Classic Theatre of Harlem
The Classical Theatre of Harlem’s vision is to “create the next great American theatre company whose value to its community is inherent and essential, a company that is engaged in producing works that truly reflect the diversity of ideas and the racial tapestry that is New York City.” Since its founding 1999, the CTH has put on over 30 productions, including Macbeth, Ain’t Supposed To Die A Natural Death, The Blacks: A Clown Show, Caligula, and various other for which the company has received numerous nominations and awards.
