Owned by twin brothers Ron and Richard Harris, and named after their mother, Lucy Florence, the original Lucy Florence Cultural Center is a combination of art gallery, coffee house, and hang-out for the artistic-types – all wrapped up in warm atmosphere, vivid paintings, bright flowers on each table, and hospitality all around. In the heart of historic Leimert Park, Lucy Florence also boasts meetings and social rooms; a theater, active with weekly (daily?) performances and movies; DJ’s on occasion; world-renowned beauty clinic; quality accessories for women . . . need more?
