Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center

The Annual Tribute Concert to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at Ochestra Hall at the Symphony Center is a celebratory mix of spirituals, dance, and Beethoven’s majestic 9th Symphony, led by Maestro Freeman and special guest conductor Kazem Abdullah. Chicago History Museum

The Chicago History Museum has events planned for celebrating Martin Luther King’s legacy in racial equality in the US. They include performances by the Chicago Chamber Choir, storytelling and a recitation of his famous “I Have A Dream” speech. Kids crafts activities will happen throughout the day.
