Founded in 1995 by Lyn Hughes, the A. Phillip Randolph/Pullman Porter Museum is named for the Pullman porters and the leader of their groundbreaking union, the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, who together formed the first African-American labor union in the country. This fine collection of well-preserved photographs and memorabilia serve to illustrate and commemorate a milestone in American history.
