The Savannah Music Festival(SMF) is one of the largest and most diverse music festivals in the southeastern United States. The festival’s distinctive line-up showcases indigenous music from the Deep South and a wealth of internationally renowned musicians representing an abundance of musical styles and genres, including Americana, bluegrass, blues, classical, dance party, gospel, guitar, Irish, jazz, organ, piano and world music.
Held annually over eighteen consecutive days, the festival will include more than 100 performances running from March 18 through April 3 in intimate venues throughout Savannah’s historic district.festival is h in intimate venues of historical downtown Savannah. Featured artist include Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Dick Hyman, Marcus Roberts, Jason Marsalis, Marcus Printup, Derek Trucks, Bill Frisell, Susan Tedeschi, Ken Peplowski, Jack Wilkins, Ben Tucker, Mike Marshall, Howard Alden, The Clayton Brothers, Wynton Marsalis, Renaud Garcia-Fons, Ted Nash, Wycliffe Gordon, Mark O’Connor, Sergio Assad, Chris Thile, Henry Butler, Joe Craven, Rodney Jordan, and Gerald Clayton
