Spaghetti Junction Urban Film Festival | Atlanta GA
The four-day Spaghetti Junction Urban Film Festival, April 16th-19th, held in Atlanta, GA showcases the work of some of the best independent filmmakers from around the globe fueled by the recognition that although under represented in Hollywood, independent filmmakers seeking to tell the plethora of untold stories are cropping up in droves to express themselves creatively through film. The event also features workshops covering the industry of independent filmmaking, as well as the festival finale’s SJUFF Impact Awards Black and White Ball, where the film festival winners will be announced.
Celebrities such as Danny Glover,Wayne Brady, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Kadeem Hardison, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Godfrey, Vanessa Williams, MC Lyte,Wood Harris,Treach, Michael Ralph, Roger G. Smith, J. Anthony Brown, Nicole Ari Parker, Mekhi Pheifer and the late great Ossie Davis have all graced the screens and/or the red Carpet of the Spaghetti Junction Urban Film Festival.
